ADRP’s Executive Committee, which consists of the officers of the association, conducts ADRP business between meetings of the Board of Directors; recommends to the Board new or modified policies; and implements other duties and responsibilities as delegated to it by the Board. David Graham started his blood banking career in 2003 as Director of Donor Recruitment for the Community Blood Center of Greater Kansas City, an independent locally-based non-profit that supplies blood to 72 hospitals in Kansas and Missouri, Currently, David is the Vice President of Donor and Hospital Services there. In this role, he has responsibility for Marketing, Donor Recruitment, Collections, Special Donations, Outpatient Apheresis, Component Laboratory, Patient Testing Laboratory, Hospital Distribution, Hospital Relations, and Volunteer Services. David has 16 years of experience in sales and sales management roles for such companies as Merck Medco Managed Care, Consumer Health Services, GeoAccess and NetSales. David graduated with a B.A. from Northwest Missouri State University and earned a Master’s Degree from Indiana University.

As Director, CRM Business Transformation, Kelly High is leading the change in business process and marketing infrastructure that will support the implementation of American Red Cross (ARC) BioArch CRM initiative, which includes the Donor Relationship Management System (DRMS), the Telerecruitment Effectiveness Program and rollout of the new Donor Marketing Strategy. Kelly has served as the Senior Program Manager, Recruitment Optimizati on for BHQ in the Sales and Marketing Department since March 2008. In this role, she led the efforts of the Hemasphere Standardization team, provided support for the development and implementation of the Hemasphere Costing module and supported several national recruitment initiatives including Lean & BioArch. Kelly began her career at the American Red Cross in 2003 as the LifeBoard Manager for the Greater Chesapeake & Potomac Region, and in 2004 was promoted to Director of Donor Strategy for the region. Kelly is a graduate of the College of Notre Dame of Maryland with a B.A. in Computer Information Systems. She has served on the ADRP Board of Directors since 2006.

Carol Mitchell serves as Corporate Manager, Donor Services for Canadian Blood Services. Her primary focus in this role is supporting regional Donor Services’ teams across the country. Carol began her career in the blood system in Southwestern Ontario in 1993 as a recruitment coordinator primarily focused on new donor recruitment with high school, college and university populations. Over the next several years, she broadened her responsibilities to include corporate and community recruitment activity while maintaining a focus on new donor recruitment. Carol’s responsibilities grew to include leadership of the Recruitment team in Southwestern Ontario for Canadian Blood Services. Carol is based in London, Ontario. She is currently serving as ADRP’s Global Programs Committee Chair.

Charles “Chuck” Moore is Telerecruitment Director, Southeast Division, American Red Cross. He is a native of Tennessee and began his involvement with the blood program there in 1989. Since that time, he has moved from volunteer donor to recruitment director. He joined the Carolinas Region of the American Red Cross in 1997, and received the Tiffany Award for Excellence in Management in 2001. After ten years there, he was tapped as director of recruitment call centers for the division. He is currently responsible for a call center that recruits for 35 donor centers in four Red Cross regions. He graduated from East Tennessee State University and earned his graduate degree there. Prior to coming to the American Red Cross, his vocational endeavors varied from museum technician to English teacher.
Chuck has been a member of ADRP since 1997 and has served on the Awards Committee, Corporate Partnership Committee, and presently serves on the Executive Committee. He was the 2003 recipient of the Nancy J. Chapman Scholarship. His essay titled “Effective Management Techniques” was included in Donor Recruitment: Tips, Techniques, and Tales, co-published by ADRP and the AABB Press in 2005. Chuck and his wife, René, reside in Charlotte, NC.
Vice President Moira Carter

Moira Carter has served as National Donor Services Manager for the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) since April 1997. Her responsibilities include Collection Program Planning, Recruitment & Publicity, Donor Administration, Whole Blood Collection and Apheresis Collection. Moira joined SNBTS in 1979 as a Research Scientist to undertake a post into Rhesus Haemolytic Disease of the Newborn. This project formed the basis of Moira’s Ph.D. thesis in 1985. Moira continued to work in research with SNBTS primarily in the fields of cell culture and immunology with a keen interest in therapeutic monoclonal development. In 1997 she moved from the post of Head of Cell Culture & Immunology in SNBTS National Science Lab to her current post. Moira has served as a member of the UK Standing Advisory Committee for Care and Selection of Donors since 2000 and has a keen interest in the management of donor selection and minimizing the impact of medical deferrals. She is the Co-Chair of the Global Programs Committee.
Vice President Darrin Greenlee

Darrin Greenlee assumed the position of CEO for the Arizona Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross in October, 2010. Darrin's career in blood banking began 23 years ago after his father utilized 336 red cells and countless units of platelets and plasma during a major illness. Prior to holding his current position in Arizona, Darrin was employed by Houchin Community Blood Bank in Bakersfield, California, the Midwest Region of the American Red Cross in Omaha, Nebraska, the Pacific Northwest Region of the American Red Cross in Portland, Oregon, Community Blood Bank in Rancho Mirage, California and San Diego Blood Bank. He has worked in numerous departments throughout his career including hospital services, component preparation, testing laboratory, human tissue transplant services, collections, donor recruitment and data management. Darrin received the American Red Cross Tiffany Award for Excellence in Management in 1999 and served on that organization’s Donor Recruitment Optimization Project committee. He is currently responsible for American Red Cross biomedical operations throughout the state of Arizona.

Amy Hutch has been with United Blood Services, Las Vegas since February, 2004. She worked as a donor recruitment representative until July, 2005, when she became manager of the mobile department, and ultimately director of donor recruitment in April, 2006. UBS-Las Vegas serves 28 hospitals and a population of two million residents, scheduled to collect over 90,000 red cells and 15,000 single donor platelets in 2009. In 2007, UBS-Las Vegas was recognized as achieving the highest percentage of annual goal and highest projection accuracy in the United Blood Centers system. Her major responsibilities include all mobile and fixed-site recruitment strategies, marketing and promotions planning, and media relations. Amy previously held various sales and recruitment positions in the education field and the beverage industry. She earned her MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in August, 2009. This year she served as chair of the Awards Committee and Technology Task Force.
