(Watford Observer) A school in Bushey is taking part in a programme which will teach them about blood, organ, tissue and bone marrow donations.
Queens School, in Aldenham Road, Bushey, will be given free education packs for use in lessons aimed at 14 to 16 year-olds.
More than 1,000 secondary schools across the UK have already signed up for the Give and Let Live programme and will be receiving the free learning materials.

The teaching pack includes lesson plans, activity sheets, real life stories, debates, games, films and other activities and is produced by the NHS Blood and Transplant service (NHSBT).
Dr Tim Wallington, NHSBT's interim medical director said: "There is a critical and ongoing need for donated organs, blood, tissue, as well as bone marrow.
"We hope this initiative will not only help teachers to deliver very important learning points and skills, but that it will help shape the views of future donors and create a new generation of lifesavers."
