International Outreach Committee

The International Outreach Committee promotes ADRP worldwide and provides outreach to blood collecting organizations in developing areas.

The International Outreach Committee (formerly the Global Programs Committee) will promote ADRP worldwide and represent the organization at other international blood-banking conferences and work groups. The team also will provide outreach to international blood centres to increase international ADRP subscriptions and conference attendance. They will plan and facilitate the International Summit during the Annual Conference and serve as a liaison to international attendees.

Committee members come from organizations in North America, Europe, Asia and the Pacific Rim, representing 12 countries around the world. Representatives are wanted from blood banks in South America, the Caribbean and Africa.

The International Outreach Committee meets via teleconference every 6 to 8 weeks (an international toll-free number is provided to committee members by ADRP) with committee member assignments distributed during the interim. Committee members are expected to attend a minimum of 75% of committee meetings and actively contribute in a sub-committee.
