Today’s population is a mix of Millennials (born 1980-1994) and iGen (born after 1995), generations that differ from each other as well as from the Boomers and GenX’ers older than them. Key generational differences include trends in independence, social interaction, self-confidence, risk-taking, and values, all of which may influence the choice to donate blood. Throughout, there’s advice on how to better recruit young blood donors.
