Donor Recruitment Manager

Blood Assurance is seeking a Donor Recruitment Manager to lead field recruitment efforts that build new and existing business in our Chattanooga and North Georgia region.  Primary responsibilities include direct leadership of Account Managers in expanding blood drive activity on mobiles primarily, and in facilities as needed, based on growth strategy in a specific type of blood product recruitment and collection.  Assist in developing long-term community business partnerships, and coordinating internally with all leadership levels to support or expand Blood Assurance recruitment efforts.  Work closely with Donor Services leadership to ensure recruitment and collection teams are working together toward meeting overall product collection goals.

Qualified applicants will have:

  • Bachelor's degree-preferably in business, marketing or related field.
  • 7-10 years sales experience, preferably in blood banking. 
  • 3-5 years sales staff management.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Public presentation and networking skills.
  • Advanced organizational, customer service and teamwork skills.

Territory sales consultant

Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a Territory Sales Consultant in the ARDMORE area. This is a vital and rewarding position that will play a key role in sharing our lifesaving mission. The successful Territory Sales Consultant is a professional, goal-driven "people person" who is an active, knowledgeable member of the community. The Consultant is responsible for promoting blood drive programs to community leaders and groups, companies and businesses, educational groups, churches and other civic and community groups. A candidate must be customer-focused and possess experience with sales and event planning. This position is responsible for recruiting new donor groups and expanding existing accounts for established territory. As such, the Consultant will plan, organize and promote effective and exciting events and presentations to share Our Blood Institute's mission. He/She is expected to develop and assess a strategy to achieve assigned collection goals and meet performance metrics. Considered applicants must have 1-3 years sales related experience. Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree is preferred.

SALARY RANGE: Competitive salary plus monthly commission plan, and excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, long term disability, 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement and holiday pay; $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!

Content Design Strategist

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years sales related experience. Public speaking/presentation experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Our Blood Institute is seeking a Content Design Strategist to join our community relations team. This role will function primarily as a graphic designer who will illustrate concepts based on discussions with internal stakeholders. The strategist will be expected to project manage assets needed within the full campaign development, working with many internal departments. The ideal candidate has the imagination, ability, and good humor to help bridge the gap between broad idea strategy and final execution of design, which includes a proficiency with copywriting. Duties include intensive collaboration with team members to establish design needs, using design software to complete projects, and revising projects based on internal feedback in a timely, positive manner. This role requires excellent time management skills and flexibility and an unflappable demeanor to handle ever-changing priority projects. The Content Design Strategist will design and manage effective content and communications including but not limited to print and digital advertising, print publicity pieces, promotional T-shirt designs, branded templates, social media posts, web content, brochures, and more. This strategist must possess a "can-do," customer service attitude while serving the needs of departments across the organization. Hours will be Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with some weekend work required. 

Salary: Competitive salary based on education and/or experience and $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!
