This webinar, titled “Beyond Customer Service, How Collections Staff Can Build Donor Relationships” was presented at ADRP conference in 2018 to rave reviews. One attendee commented “This was by far the best session of the conference. Excellent content. Rally terrific.” Providing a level of service that exceeds a donor’s expectations is desired, but often new collection staff have not been trained in soft skills to enhance the donor experience. This webinar will focus on  the customer service program developed at Carter BloodCare for new collections staff to provide front line staff the tools to be more effective and consistent when communicating with donors, increasing donor engagement and loyalty. James Giacoletti and Welda Alaman will share the program content providing multiple techniques such as hands-on application, lecture, and video to cover different adult learning styles. Since their presentation in May 2018,  James and Welda have been busy providing this information to individual blood centers and  have agreed to present again to ADRP.
